Kashi Tamil Sangamam guests receive welcome in Prayagraj and Vns
PRAYAGRAJ/VARANASI, Dec. 7 -- Guests arriving for the fourth edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam received a warm welcome in both Prayagraj and Varanasi, as the cultural exchange initiative continued to bring together people from Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. The second batch of visitors reached Prayagraj to a grand reception on the banks of the Sangam. Phulpur MP Praveen Patel, mayor Umesh Chandra Ganesh Kesruwani, and city magistrate Vinod Kumar Singh welcomed around 200 guests with tilak and garlands.
A special programme was organised near the VIP Ghat, where the team leader was honoured with a memento, ceremonial attire, and sacred Ganga water. An exhibition of rare manuscripts on paper and palm leaves, set up by the regional archives and the state manuscript library, drew major attention.
In Varanasi, the third group of Sangamam delegates was greeted at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham with the sound of the damru and a shower of flowers....
