LUCKNOW, May 3 -- Legendary cricketer and Padma Bhushan awardee Kapil Dev met with Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar and other senior officials at the police headquarters in Lucknow on Friday. During the visit, Kapil Dev felicitated UP Police athletes who have earned recognition at national and international levels in sports such as athletics, judo, taekwondo and arm wrestling. The DGP welcomed him warmly and praised his achievements, calling him an inspiration to many. Kapil Dev also visited the UP-112 headquarters and lauded the state's law and order system, calling it "exemplary."
