Jhansi, Jan. 8 -- A juvenile was tried as an adult here and the special POCSO court judge Mohd Niyaz Ahmad Ansari has awarded the accused seven years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 65,000 for abducting and raping a minor girl in 2017. As per ADGC Vijay Kushwaha the incident was reported from a village falling under police station Tehroli. On October 25, 2017, the minor accused kidnapped a 17-year-old girl when she had gone for coaching. He raped the victim multiple times before being caught. In his complaint, the father of the victim had also mentioned that he had earlier found the accused in an objectionable position with his daughter after which he had warned him.
