India, June 3 -- When Kush Maini crossed the finish line at the Formula 2 Sprint Race in Monaco, it wasn't just his first win - it was a historic moment for Indian motorsport, making him the first-ever Indian to win an F2 race at Monte Carlo. Fresh off the iconic victory, the 24-year-old is still absorbing the moment that saw the Indian National Anthem play through the streets of Monte Carlo. "Monaco is such an iconic circuit and to have our National Anthem play so loud across those streets - it was a dream come true. I closed my eyes in the middle of it. I just wanted to take it all in. You understand the importance of it - standing there in front of everyone." The win - his first with DAMS Lucas Oil - wasn't just a personal milestone.
