Dehradun, Oct. 15 -- The Special Task Force (STF) along with a team from the Udham Singh Nagar Police arrested an inter-state illegal arms supplier and recovered seven country made pistols ('tamancha') from his possession. Five are of .315 bore, and 2 are 12 bore. The police also recovered a motorcycle from him, they said. The accused, identified as 32-year-old Azad Ali, a resident of Gadarpur in Udham Singh Nagar, supplied weapons in the area multiple times from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh (UP). He is facing several cases registered under the Arms Act, police officers said.
