Integral Univ hosts global meet on AI
Lucknow, Dec. 23 -- Integral University on Monday inaugurated a two-day international congress focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and robotics to make Indian agriculture more efficient and sustainable, in line with the Viksit Bharat vision.
The International Congress on Unlocking AI & Robotics Driven Smart Agriculture for Viksit Bharat (AIRSA-VBCON 2025) is being organised by Integral Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (IIAST) in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Council of Agricultural Research (UPCAR), stated the press release shared on Monday.
Minister of state for horticulture Dinesh Pratap Singh, who inaugurated the event said advanced technologies will play a crucial role in boosting farm productivity and ensuring food security.
Chancellor and founder of Integral University, S W Akhtar, said technology-driven innovation was essential to address sustainability challenges and strengthen rural development. Panjab Singh, chancellor of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, cautioned that climate change, water stress and land degradation posed serious risks to agriculture.
