LUCKNOW, May 7 -- At the Udyami Samadhan Diwas on Tuesday, entrepreneurs from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) operating in the industrial areas of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) complained of undue delay in approval of maps, and demanded that leased land be made freehold. Presiding over the event at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' interacted with industrialists and assured them that their grievances would be addressed. MSME unit owners from various industrial areas of UPSIDA's Lucknow region attended Udyami Samadhan Diwas and shared their problems with the minister. CEO of UPSIDA Mayur Maheshwari and secretary, industries, Pranjal Yadav and other officials attended the event. Vikas Khanna, president of IIA Lucknow chapter, raised the issue of undue delay in approval of maps for units in industrial areas.
