Jaipur, May 5 -- Union minister of tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Sunday emphasised the transformative potential of India's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector and called it a key economic driver capable of generating high-quality employment and boosting the nation's global standing in tourism. "States across India are unlocking tourism opportunities in their own unique ways - and now, it's time for India to position itself firmly on the global MICE map. India's MICE industry is rapidly evolving into a global leader, propelled by strong economic momentum, world-class infrastructure, and robust government support," Shekhawat said while addressing at a conclave.
