LUCKNOW, March 2 -- Nearly 99% of burn injuries in emergency wards result from high-voltage electric shocks, informed Dr Anshu Singh at the emergency medicine workshop held at Balrampur Hospital on Saturday. The workshop, part of a CME (continued medical education) held for the resident doctors and faculty, on best practices in emergency medicine, emphasised on the importance of the 'first 24 hours' in emergency cases, particularly burns and toxicology patients....
