LUCKNOW, Dec. 6 -- Minimum temperature in Kanpur city went below the 5 degree-mark for the first time this season, early on Friday, with the city recording 4.2 degrees Celsius, 6.1 degrees below the normal. Muzaffarnagar and Etawah were 5.4 degrees, Bareilly 5.9 and Meerut 6.2 degrees Celsius, respectively are the four other cities in the state with the lowest minimum temperature. The Saturday forecast for Lucknow is mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later. The maximum and minimum temperature will be around 25 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the state capital were 25 and 8.5 degrees Celsius, respectively. The forecast for UP is mostly dry weather, shallow to moderate fog is very likely at isolated places in the morning. On Friday, Lucknow AQI was recorded at 148 (moderate).
