VARANASI, March 3 -- The Trauma Centre of the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU has acquired a non-CT-based robotic knee surgery system, becoming the first government medical institution in the country to do so, said prof Saurabh Singh, professor in-charge, Trauma Centre, IMS-BHU on Monday.

Chief development officer Prakhar Kumar Singh played a key role in coordinating and expediting the process.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Singh said, "This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of various institutions and a shared commitment to strengthening public health services."
