LUCKNOW, Dec. 12 -- A man posing as the representative of Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva was held on Thursday from the official residence of Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya after Maurya's staff found discrepancies in his behaviour and documents, officials said. The accused, identified as Dashrath Pal Singh of Noida, had arrived at Maurya's residence in Gautampalli claiming he was part of a delegation sent by the Delhi BJP state president for a courtesy meeting. On growing suspicious, the vigilance team immediately detained him and alerted the local police. Officers from Gautampalli police station reached the spot and formally arrested the accused. Police said during initial questioning, it came to fore that Dashrath Pal was a conman who had duped people using the names of political figures and institutions. DCP, Central Zone, Vikrant Vir said the impostor was being questioned. Meanwhile, deputy CM Maurya immediately informed the Delhi BJP president about the impersonation attempt....
