IITA signs MoU with Czech Republic institutions
PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 3 -- The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a consortium of institutions and organisations from the Czech Republic, under the European Union (EU) Ministry of Education.
This strategic partnership aims to foster academic and research collaboration, promote faculty and student exchange programmes, and facilitate joint initiatives in cutting-edge areas of technology, innovation and higher education. The MoU is expected to open new avenues for cross-border knowledge sharing, collaborative research projects, and global learning opportunities, contributing to the institute's vision of internationalization as envisaged in India's National Education Policy (NEP).
Prof Mukul Sharad Sutaone, director, IIITA, expressed that this collaboration will serve as a bridge between India and the EU region, encouraging a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and global cooperation.
This MoU marks a significant step towards strengthening IIITA's international collaborations. It aims to create impactful opportunities and cooperative initiatives in key areas such as science and research, promotion of reciprocal mobility, joint publications, knowledge transfer, and capacity building.
Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Head of the ECE department, stated that this collaboration will serve as a bridge between India and the European Union, opening up global opportunities for innovation, learning, and impactful research.
