IIT-Kanpur 2000 batch pledges Rs.100 cr to alma mater
LUCKnow, Dec. 29 -- The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) batch of 2000 pledged Rs.100 crore to their alma mater during their Silver Jubilee Reunion held on campus on Sunday. The collective commitment reflects the batch's deep gratitude to its alma mater and its shared vision of strengthening the institute's academic, research, and societal impact, according to a press release.
With this, the batch proposes to support the establishment of "Millennium School of Technology and Society" (MSTAS) at IIT Kanpur. The contribution underscores the belief of the premier institute's alumni in IIT Kanpur's role as a national and global leader in interdisciplinary education and technology-driven innovation.
