VARANASI, Dec. 1 -- The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) has announced that the campus placement drive for the academic year 2025-26 will begin on Monday. In the initial phase, 330 leading companies will interview students. A total of 1,701 students, including 1,100 BTech students, 550 MTech and Integrated Dual Degree students, and 40 PhD scholars, will participate in this year's placement season. Phase 1 of the placement drive will be held from December 1 to December 10, 2025. The placement season has already gained strong momentum, with 280 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) extended to students ahead of the formal start of campus interviews.
