New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday appointed senior IAS officer Nidhi Chibber as the CEO of the government think-tank NITI Aayog, an official order said. Chibber, a 1994-batch IAS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, took additional charge as the CEO on February 24, upon the completion of the tenure of the current CEO, BVR Subrahmanyam. She will work as CEO until appointment of another officer or until further orders. "The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, NlTl Aayog to Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, lAS (CG:1994), Director General, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, NITI Aayog upon completion of tenure of Shri BVR Subrahmanyam, lAS (CG:1987) (Retd.) on 24.02.2026 and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier," the order said.
