IAF trains CISF personnel on drone threat response at Lko airport
LUCKNOW, Jan. 15 -- The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday conducted a specialised training programme for Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow, to strengthen preparedness against potential drone threats to airport security.
With both domestic and international flights operating from the airport, officials stressed the need for increased vigilance against unauthorised drone activity.
IAF instructors briefed CISF jawans on identifying suspicious drones, assessing associated risks and following established reporting procedures for timely action.
The session also covered the dual use of drones, explaining how they can be misused to pose security challenges if not monitored properly.
During the interactive programme, CISF jawans raised queries related to drone threats and countermeasures, which were addressed by IAF officers....
