LUCKNOW, Nov. 18 -- A 20-year-old youth was killed after he was allegedly hit by the Jammu Tawi Express and came under the train on Monday afternoon in Malihabad. The incident occurred between Malihabad railway station and Mahmoodnagar Dhaal, near pole number 94/30, police said. According to the Malihabad police statement, information about the incident was received around 4.30 pm. "A police team rushed to the spot and found the body trapped under the train. With the help of local residents, the body was retrieved and the railway track was cleared for movement of trains," the statement said. According to police, the deceased was a resident of Pathakganj, Mahmoodnagar under Malihabad police station. Police conducted an on-site inspection and later sent the body for postmortem after completing the panchanama. Further legal procedures are underway, officials said. A 64-year-old e-rickshaw driver died after his vehicle overturned on the Shaheed Path service lane in Lucknow on Monday morning, police said. The accident occurred around 10:30 am near Express Plaza under the PGI police station limits when the e-rickshaw, travelling from Utraitia towards Shaheed Nagar and BBAU, went out of control and flipped. The driver, Suresh Mehta, a resident of Riksha Colony in Ashiyana, was taken to Apex Trauma Centre, where he died during treatment.....
