LUCKNOW, Dec. 13 -- A summit "Roots of Resilience: Building Bharat's Enterprise Engine" to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh was organised here on Friday. Over 800 delegates, startups from the hinterland of the state, investors, corporates and government policymakers attended the event. The programme was held as part of the Aavishkaar Group's second edition of the Sankalp Bharat Summit 2025 where startups were also awarded. Rajat Vardhan from ScaNxt won in the Agri-Tech Pioneer awards category. He runs an agriculture technology startup that uses AI, IoT, and deep tech to make farming smarter, more sustainable, and more data-driven. In the AI for Impact category, winner was Siddharth Khare from Bhoomicam, a geospatial agri-tech company that uses AI and satellite technology to give farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses real-time insights. In the Climate Champion category the winner was Anant Jain from eBik, an electric mobility company that designs affordable e-bicycles and EV kits to make clean, zero-emission transport accessible to everyday users. In the Cultural Enterprise category, the winner was Manjari Sharma from FarmDidi, a food-tech social enterprise that empowers rural women. Local and regional startups were also rewarded and recognised. This year, six winners took home prizes worth Rs 52 lakh. The special category winner was Pravidhaan FPCL, led by Anshuman Upadhyay who won Rs 12 lakh. Three startups won Rs 10 lakhs each. The summit also showcased promising startup trailblazers from across the state besides featuring the Ascend programme where entrepreneurs such as Akash Singh, CEO, Unbubble; Gautam Malik, founder & chief enabler, Jaggery; Ibalarihun Mallai, founder & Creative Director, Kiniho; Kumar Abhishek, Founder, The Open Field; and Radhakrishnan K, Co-founder, IBEC Consulting among others were present....
