LUCKNOW, Dec. 31 -- Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi and Thakur Prasad Singh were remembered at a programme organised by the UP Hindi Sansthan to mark its 49th Foundation Day on Tuesday. Writer Vidya Vindu Singh said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Thakur Prasad Singh were known for their simplicity, and added that to truly understand Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, one must study his works. Poet Ramakant Srivastava said the life struggles of Vajpayee, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi and Thakur Prasad Singh teach us the importance of perseverance and moving forward without giving up. On the occasion, excerpts from Banabhatta Ki Atmakatha by Hazari Prasad Dwivedi were recited by Archana and Sushil, while poems by Thakur Prasad Singh, Ramakant Srivastava and Atal Bihari Vajpayee were recited by Ratnamala and Nirmala Kumari....
