LUCKNOW, Sept. 14 -- Several programmes were organised at various educational institutions to celebrate Hindi Diwas on Saturday. A debate competition on "The future of mother tongue is in danger in technocratization" was organised at Eram Girls' Degree College. Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, in association with UP Bhasha Sansthan and Lokayatan, organised a programme in the presence of principal secretary (social welfare) Hari Om along with director of the institute GK Goswami, Lokayatan president Malvika Hariom, deputy director Chiranjib Mukherjee, administrative officer Atul Yadav and satirist Sarvesh Asthana.Hariom's ghazal "Main tere pyar ka mara hua hoon, Sikandar hoon magar haara hua hoon" left the audience spellbound. Various events were organised at Lucknow University, including a debate contest, extempore speech and mimicry competitions. A kavi sammelan was also held by Sanskritiki, the cultural wing of the university, at AP Sen Hall.Khun Khun Ji Girls' PG College organised a seminar along with poetry and speech competitions....
