Henna artist's death: Police formally arrest three accused
LUCKNOW, April 22 -- Three days after the murder of a henna artist while resisting an alleged molestation bid on her and her cousin in a moving car, Banthra police on Monday formally arrested three accused for molestation and unintentional murder. Those arrested are Vikas from Banthra, and Ajay and Rajnish, both from Unnao. The police said they had confessed to their crime. The trio were taken into police custody earlier. ACP Krishnanagar, Vikas Pandey, said it came to light during probe that on April 18, the car driven by Ajay lost control in Ramdaspur village, hit the stairs of a house and overturned, trapping the deceased under the car.
