Lucknow, Oct. 6 -- The western Uttar Pradesh is likely to see another bout of heavy rain and hailstorm, weathermen said. On Monday, a new western disturbance is expected to impact the weather in north-west India, they said on Sunday. India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that under the influence of the western disturbance, heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Bijnor, Amroha, Rampur, Sambhal and surrounding areas, and hailstorm at isolated places in Saharanpur, Baghpat, Meerut, Aligarh, Kasganj, Bijnor, Amroha and surrounding areas. Subsequently, the weather is expected to become dry with rainfall decreasing on Tuesday and ceasing the day after. The forecast for the state is rain/thundershowers very likely at many places in western Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
