Lucknow, June 14 -- Sporadic rainfall in the state will increase from June 15, and heavy rainfall is likely in eastern Uttar Pradesh from June 17 and in western Uttar Pradesh from June 19, the Met department said on Friday. Agra remained the hottest in UP at 45 degrees Celsius with Jhansi 44.9 and Lucknow 41.9 degrees Celsius. On Friday, due to a fall in temperatures in other regions of the state, technically heat wave conditions were not recorded at many places, except Agra and Mainpuri.
