Health workers to visit homes to curb spread of diarrhoea
Lucknow, June 24 -- The families with children under five years of age will soon receive visits from health workers in Uttar Pradesh. These workers will inform families about the risks of diarrhoea and give them Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) packets to use if anyone in the family falls ill due to the infection.
"With the Communicable Disease Prevention Month beginning from July 1, there will be more focus on diarrhoea this year. "ORS packs are already with ASHA workers, and they shall provide them to families for use in case anyone in the family suffers from diarrhoea," the official said.

The goal of the campaign is to achieve zero deaths due to diarrhoea.
