MEERUT, Nov. 26 -- Fake doctors or quacks are often seen as a potential threat to people's lives and strict regulations are introduced to curb their activities.

However, a health official in Hastinapur has shown that even these unqualified people can be diverted from fraud to a useful purpose.

In Meerut, the district officials directed medical superintendents of health centres to register cases against quacks (unqualified doctors) during the ongoing 10-day drive for Active Corona Search (ACS) in the district.
