PRAYAGRAJ, July 23 -- All preparations have been made to elect officer-bearers of Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA), polling for which is scheduled to be held on July 23. According to chief returning officer for HCBA election, Radha Kant Ojha, the polling will begin at 9 a.m. in the parking area (ground floor) of the newly constructed chamber building and will end at 5 p.m. All the advocates must come in the court dress with the latest identity card issued by the high court bar association. No lawyer will be permitted to cast votes unless he has a valid identity card issued by the HCBA. No other identity card will be permitted, said the chief returning officer. This year there are 9718 voters and as many as 201 candidates, who are in the fray for various posts of HCBA. The election committee has restricted the setting up of any tent within the radius of 500 metres of high court building. There will be route diversion and the entire area has been declared as no parking zone. In order to conduct smooth polling, a contingent of central reserve police force (CRPF) and civil police will remain posted on the gate of each booth....
