Jodhpur, Nov. 28 -- The Rajasthan high court on Wednesday, while hearing a petition filed by 63 police constables recruited under the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP, directed the state government to consider transferring them to the Maharana Pratap Battalion in Pratapgarh. The court said that, in case of administrative exigencies, they should be suitably adjusted, transferred, deployed, or temporarily placed in any district falling within the TSP area. Pratapgarh is one of the three districts in Rajasthan that are fully covered under the TSP. Justice Farjand Ali observed that all the petitioners were recruited in the Mineral Protection Force in 2013 under the TSP quota but were reassigned to the non-TSP cadre.
