Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly speaker Satish Mahana has sought legal opinion on the request for restoration of membership of disqualified SBSP MLA Abbas Ansari. "Yes, I have sought legal opinion from the state law department and further action will be taken once the legal opinion is received," said Mahana on phone. The Allahabad High Court has stayed Abbas Ansari's conviction in a hate speech case last month.
