Harassment charges unsubstantiated: KGMU panel
LUCKNOW, Dec. 6 -- The seven-member Vishakha Committee has concluded its inquiry into a harassment complaint filed by a senior faculty member against a male colleague at KGMU, determining that the allegations could not be substantiated, a KGMU official said on Friday.
Following the probe ordered by the KGMU administration, the Vishakha Committee examined statements from both parties, recorded witness testimonies, and questioned department staff. It also reviewed CCTV footage from the dates and times mentioned in the complaint, the official said.
According to KGMU spokesperson Dr KK Singh, the footage did not contain any visual evidence supporting the allegations. htc...
