Agra, March 29 -- The Aligarh police arrested the son of a school manager and has launched a hunt for his father and his wife after a teenage girl of Class 8 committed suicide in Bulandshahar on Wednesday. A case was registered for the abetment of suicide and criminal intimidation at Palimukeempur police station of Aligarh. The father of the girl had lodged another case more than a month ago but the police did not act against the accused. The girl had complained of harassment and misbehaviour by the school manager and teacher Umesh Kumar, a lady teacher Ayushi and a boy. The father of the deceased got a case registered at Palimukeempur police station on February 21 under section 115(2), 351(3), 74 and Section 66D of IT Act. Police however allegedly went slow and the dejected girl, while at the residence of her aunt in a village of Bulandshahar district, committed suicide on Wednesday. Ravi Chandrawal, SHO at Palimukeempur police station said that police registered a case for abetment on Wednesday night against three named accused, including school manager Umesh Kumar, his son Nishant Kumar and Daya, Nishant's wife, on the complaint of the father of the girl. htc...
