Handle every plaint with sensitivity: CM
Gorakhpur, July 26 -- Reaffirming his government's commitment to public welfare, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to handle every complaint with urgency, transparency, and sensitivity, and ensure no negligence in the addressal of public grievances.
During the second consecutive day of his three-day visit to Gorakhpur, the chief minister held a Janta Darshan at the Digvijaya Nath Auditorium, located within the Gorakhnath Temple premises.
He personally listened to the concerns of nearly 200 citizens and issued clear instructions to officials, stressing the need for swift and effective resolution of each issue raised.
The CM individually interacted with complainants, assured them of justice, and forwarded their applications to the concerned departments with orders for immediate action. He emphasised that resolving people's problems remains the government's top priority.
Taking note of complaints regarding limited entry during Janta Darshan, the CM directed divisional commissioner Ravi Kumar NG and District Magistrate Krishna Karunesh to ensure accountability. He instructed them to take serious note if citizens' grievances are not being resolved during Tehsil Diwas.
Earlier, he visited the residence of social activist Pavas Chaudhary at Ghantaghar to offer condolences on the demise of his mother, Shail Chaudhary, who passed away on July 21.
