Guru Charan yatra reaches Lucknow
Lucknow, Oct. 28 -- The historic Guru Charan Yatra, which began from Gurudwara Moti Bagh in Delhi, reached Lucknow on Monday.
Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP state general secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh, Cabinet minister Suresh Khanna, Lucknow Bharatiya Janata Party president Anand Dwivedi, and MLA Neeraj Bora welcomed the yatra at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Daliganj.
Yatra coordinator Ashok Tiwari, Dhanshyam Das Agarwal, Manjeet Singh Talwar, Jagtar Singh, corporator Abhilasha Sudarshan Katiyar, and many members of the Sikh community were present.
Later, the yatra proceeded via IT Square, Hanuman Setu, Parivartan Chowk, Medical College, and Nakkhas to Ahiaganj Gurudwara, where BJP leader Rajneesh Kumar Gupta and others received it. The holy Joda Sahib Guru Charan Yatra halted overnight at Ahiaganj Gurudwara. htc...
