Lucknow, March 24 -- Nehru Enclave, a housing colony with around 800 apartments in posh Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow, has never been so quite.

"The surroundings are so serene for last two days that one could clearly hear chirping of birds and flutter of wings around," says Dharmendra Singh, while taking a stroll with his grandson outside his flat, amid lockdown in view of 23 positive cases of coronavirus reported from Uttar Pradesh so far.

Hustling and bustling 24X7 otherwise, the colony houses over 2,500 residents, including some MLAs and other VIPs.

While earlier a guard outside majority of houses was unmissable, the colony appeared completely locked down for last two days.
