govt will reviews.i. recruitment verdict: rathore
Barmer, Aug. 30 -- Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore, during his one-day visit to Barmer and Jaisalmer on Friday, addressed the recent high court verdict cancelling the 2021 Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment process. He assured that the BJP-led state government would review the court's decision and take steps in public interest. Rathore said, "Our party and government acted in the public's interest. We never intended to cancel the recruitment process, as that would hurt honest and hardworking candidates. Many aspirants who cleared the exam fairly, especially those nearing the upper age limit of 33 years, might not get another chance. Investigations were conducted, and those found guilty were sent to jail."
He further said that while the court's judgment is acceptable, the government will analyse the legal aspects thoroughly before deciding on the next course of action. "The Rajasthan government will ensure that no injustice is done while safeguarding public interest," he said.
Responding to the recent verbal spat between Minister Kirodi Lal Meena and MP Hanuman Beniwal, called for restraint in political discourse. "I have only heard about the issue, but personal animosity should never overshadow political decorum. Differences in ideology are natural, but leaders should not cross the limits of decency," he remarked.
