New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Electronics and information technology minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday described the AI Impact Summit as the largest AI gathering ever, citing crowds at the expo and nearly 600 sessions at the Bharat Mandapam convention centre. The summit drew around 70,000 people on Tuesday, including several young people, he said. "Welcome to the world's biggest AI summit," Vaishnaw said at a press conference on Tuesday morning. "This huge response from all sections of the society, especially young people have come to this Summit in a very large number.We can see the enthusiasm, it's palpable." The opening day on Monday was marked by logistical confusion and access bottlenecks, even as the venue saw heavy footfall.
