Govt reshuffles sr IAS officers, assigns key addl charges
Lucknow, March 30 -- The state government on Sunday effected a reshuffle in the senior bureaucracy, transferring and assigning additional responsibilities to several IAS officers.
As per the official order, M Devaraj, principal secretary, appointment and personnel, has been given additional charge of director general of the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management along with his existing responsibilities.
Anurag Yadav, currently principal secretary, IT and electronics, has been transferred and posted as principal secretary, social welfare and sainik welfare departments.
Alok Kumar-II, principal secretary, planning and programme implementation, and nodal officer for the One Trillion Dollar Economy and Zero Poverty Mission, has been given additional charge of principal secretary, IT and electronics.
Sourabh Babu, principal secretary, rural development and rural engineering services, will additionally hold charge as director general of the Deendayal Upadhyay State Institute of Rural Development.
Ravi Ranjan, managing director of UP Electronics Corporation (UPLC) and UP Agro, has been posted as special secretary in the medical, health and family welfare department.
TK Shibu, special secretary in the agriculture production commissioner branch, has been given additional charge as managing director of UP Agro.
Among other changes, Himanshu Kaushik, an IAS officer awaiting posting, has been appointed managing director of UP Electronics Corporation.
Saumya Gururani, also awaiting posting, has been posted as municipal commissioner of Shahjahanpur.
Meanwhile, Vipin Kumar Mishra, municipal commissioner, Shahjahanpur, has been transferred as additional managing director in the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). htc...
