Prayagraj, May 10 -- Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, government hospitals in Prayagraj have made preparations to handle any potential emergencies. Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital (SRNH), with a total capacity of 1,200 beds, has reserved 250 beds specifically for emergency situations. Dr RB Kamal, the chief medical superintendent (CMS) of SRNH, confirmed that essential supplies such as medicines, oxygen, medical equipment, and testing machines, along with the hospital's trauma centre, are fully prepared to address any crisis. Dr AK Tiwari, chief medical officer (CMO) of Prayagraj, stated that while no formal directives regarding the India-Pakistan situation had been issued by the government, local preparations were actively underway.
