Govt approves investment proposal of six companies
Lucknow, May 16 -- The Yogi Adityanath government has approved investment proposals from six companies under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022. These companies will receive a Letter of Comfort, which will enable them to avail of various incentives and facilities, certain taxes and duties, subsidies on investments and employment and financial facilities such as loans and grants.
"These projects are expected to generate employment opportunities for thousands of youth. The companies will receive benefits under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2022, including exemptions, subsidies, and financial facilities," industrial development minister Nandi Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' said on Thursday.
The firms making an investment in Uttar Pradesh are:
JK Cement Limited will invest Rs 450.92 crore in Prayagraj. Moon Beverages Limited will invest Rs 469.61 crore in Hapur. Silverton Pulp and Papers Private Limited will invest Rs 403.88 crore in Muzaffarnagar. Globus Spirits Limited will invest Rs 399.74 crore in Lakhimpur Kheri. Chandpur Enterprises Limited will invest Rs 273.9 crore in Bijnor, with paper production plant already set up....
