Governor visits Universal Booksellers
LUCKNOW, July 12 -- Governor Anandiben Patel visited Universal Booksellers in Hazratganj, Lucknow, on Friday.
During her visit, she spent time interacting with students present in the library section of the bookstore.
One of the key topics discussed was her idea of a mobile library to help deliver books to children living in remote areas.
Inspired by this concept, the Universal Booksellers family showed their interest and commitment to support and work towards making it a reality.
The governor also spoke about the ancient manuscripts kept at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University in Varanasi and Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra.
Their preservation and digitization were important points of discussion.
The time governor Patel spent at the bookstore showed her strong love for books and learning.
