Lucknow, Jan. 14 -- Building confidence among parents so that they send their wards to attend in-person classes in schools remains a challenge at a time when restrictions to control the Covid-19 pandemic in the state continue while the fear of infection subsides with the vaccination set to be rolled out on January 16.

As of now, schools are permitted to open for senior sections and attendance is expected to rise slowly. However, the government may not allow schools to re-open for pre-primary and elementary classes.

Educationists believe the closure of schools has affected several aspects of learning.
