LUCKNOW, Aug. 23 -- Gautam Buddha Nagar excelled with respect to grievance redressal at the police commissioner, senior superintendent of police (SSP) and superintendent of police (SP) level for the month of July. Shravasti was the top scorer when it came to grievance redressal at the district magistrate level, a note by the state government's media cell said on Friday. The Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) report for July was recently presented before the chief minister Yogi Adityanath. "According to the report, Gautam Buddha Nagar recorded 98.72% 'satisfied' feedbacks at the police commissioner/SSP/SP level, followed by Pilibhit (98.23%), Ballia (96.04%), Basti (95.43%), and Shravasti (95.14%)," stated the note. "At the district magistrate level, Shravasti topped the list with 90.2% 'satisfied' feedbacks, followed by Shahjahanpur (89.08%), Balrampur (83.44%), Hamirpur (82.15%), and Bareilly (80.11%), it stated. The CM had previously directed that complaints should not be investigated by officers against whom they were filed. At the district level, ADM, ASP, DCP, or other senior officers should be entrusted with the task of personally interacting with complainants before recommending a "special close" to ensure the complainants' satisfaction.
