Fuel station staff booked for stealing Rs 3 crore over years
PRAYAGRAJ, June 17 -- The owner of a fuel station has accused his own employees of embezzling Rs 3 crore, in Pratapgarh's Paramnathpur area.
As per reports, Sushmita Pandey, who owns the station on Gayghat Road, has alleged that Rohit Singh, who was the manager of the pump since 2017, with the assistance of his father Rajendra Bahadur Singh, brother Rahul Singh and one Ajay Mishra, committed a scam of about Rs 3 crores between 2018 and 2025.
The others were also employed at the station.
As per the complaint, fake slips were generated towards bills for police vehicles.
Allegedly, several documents at the station showed a big difference in payments received from the police department.
When questioned, the employees allegedly verbally abused and threatened Pandey with consequences.
An FIR had been registered under relevant sections on the basis of Pandey's complaint against all the four employees at Antu police station on Monday....
