Four IPS officers transferred; Jhansi range gets new IG
LUCKNOW, Aug. 28 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred four senior IPS officers.
While two of them are of deputy IG ranks, the other two are of additional director general (ADG) inspector general (IG) ranks, confirmed senior authorities of the home department.
Vijay Singh Meena, IPS (RR-1996), has been transferred from the position of ADG of Special Investigation in Lucknow to the ADG of Police Training College (PTC) in Sitapur.
Akash Kulhri, IPS (RR-2006), has been transferred from the position of IG, Public Grievance, Police Headquarters, Lucknow, to IG, Jhansi Range, in place of deputy IG Keshav Kumar Choudhary, IPS (RR-2009).
Choudhary has been transferred to the post of additional police commissioner at Ghaziabad police commissionerate. Kalpana Saxena, IPS (SPS-2010), has been transferred from the post Ghaziabad additional police commissioner.
