AGRA, Aug. 4 -- Four people involved in a major theft at a factory in Agra on July 31 were arrested after one of them was injured in an encounter with Agra police on Saturday night. Illegal firearms were recovered from the accused, said police on Sunday. According to the media cell of Agra Police, a major theft took place on July 31 at a factory under the jurisdiction of MM Gate police station. Dedicated police teams were formed to arrest the accused. On Saturday night, police received information about the presence of the accused near Lady Lyall Hospital in Agra. When approached, the accused opened fire on the police, prompting retaliatory action. One of the accused, Sharad alias Lallu, sustained a leg injury and was arrested. Three of his associates-Saurabh, Pankaj, and Himanshu-were also taken into custody, while another suspect, Amit, managed to escape....
