Lucknow, July 12 -- The historic grounds of St Paul's College, Lucknow, came alive with energy and nostalgia on Friday during the annual Founders Cup Football Match, where the present students faced off against the alumni team. This beloved tradition, held in honour of Rev Fr Cyril (OFM Cap), the founding principal of the institution established in 1957, brought together generations of Paulites in a celebration of legacy and school spirit. The event was graced by Rev Fr Tej Prakash Bara, principal of St Paul's College, as chief guest, with Rev Fr Alwyn Madtha as guest of honour and Col Rajesh Shukla, a distinguished alumnus, as special invitee. The present team triumphed with a 4-2 victory over the alumni team. Shreyansh led the scoring with two goals, supported by Mudit and Usman with one goal each. The alumni team put up a spirited fight, with Prateek Singh scoring both of their goals.
