Former cs Manoj Kumar Singh appointed CEO of State Transformation Commission
Lucknow, Nov. 16 -- Former chief secretary Manoj Kumar Singh has been appointed the chief executive officer (CEO) of the State Transformation Commission, according to an order issued by the state government here on Saturday.
According to the order issued by principal secretary, planning, Alok Kumar, Singh will assume charge from the date he takes over and continue as CEO for the next three years. A separate notification will specify his salary, allowances and other entitlements.
Manoj Kumar Singh, a 1988-batch IAS officer, retired as chief secretary on July 31 2025. He took over as chief secretary on June 30, 2024.
The Yogi Adityanath government in October 2022 restructured the State Planning Commission into the State Transformation Commission to drive reforms, evaluate development strategies and strengthen long-term policy planning....
