Haridwar, July 6 -- In the wake of potent threat of wild animals and round-the-clock pilgrims' rush on the 8-km Lakshman Jhula- Neelkanth route, forest guards will be deployed during the Kanwar fair. The order was issued by Pauri Garhwal district magistrate Swati Bhadauria,while making an on-site inspection of Neelkanth shrine route on Saturday, the officials added. As several cases of wild animal intrusion and attacks on pilgrims were recorded in the past few years on Lakshman Jhula-Neelkanth shrine area.
