AYODHYA, Nov. 20 -- Preparations in the temple city intensified on Wednesday as Ram Janmabhoomi construction committee chairman Nripendra Misra oversaw arrangements for the November 25 flag-hoisting ceremony at Ram Mandir ahead of the Prime Minister's visit. He said the chief minister Yogi Adityanath had directed that staff receive two days of training and ensure courteous behaviour with devotees. Arrangements were being streamlined so the Ram Baraat and other processions moved without hurdles, while Ramlalla's court would remain open for over 16 hours on 26 November to facilitate darshan.Misra said manual and machinery systems for hoisting the flag atop the Ram temple spire had been reinforced. He added that flags at seven temples would be triangular, carry only the Om symbol, and be smaller than the main temple flag. Two rehearsals for the flag hoisting had already taken place inside the premises and both were successful. The flags on all spires would remain permanent and be lowered once or twice a year for replacement. One flag would be placed on the Sheshavatar temple spire within the complex, while six others would be installed on the Panchayatan temple spires in the parkota.He said several prominent persons who were not accommodated during Pran Pratishtha would now be invited....
