Agra, June 16 -- A case was registered against five named accused for allegedly killing a 24-year-old woman who was on her way home on a two-wheeler in Hathras on Saturday evening. Police teams have been constituted for the arrest of the accused after a case was registered for murder at Hathras Gate police station. The deceased, who was daughter of the district magistrate's driver, was allegedly shot dead by bike-borne criminals while returning from a market along with her mother, in Hathras on Saturday evening, police said. The deceased's mother, an eyewitness to the incident, alleged that a friend of her daughter-in-law killed her daughter, police added. According to SP Chiranjeev Nath, the incident took place near the gate of Sadar tehsil within the Hathras Gate police station limits at around 8pm on Saturday. "Kalpita Sharma, 24, was on a two-wheeler with her mother when she was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne men," Sinha said. "Kalpita's mother has alleged that her daughter-in-law Jyoti, who has been living separately with her friend Gulshan Bhardwaj for the past six months after dispute with her husband Vishal, shot her daughter dead," the SP added....
